This hotel appeared in not one Bond movie but three: Dr. No (1962) and Goldfinger (1964) with Sean Connery and Live and Let Die (1973) with Roger Moore. The tropical islands are a true holiday paradise. By the way, there is another one island hotel – British Colonial Hilton, Nassau, Bahamas. This is where Kim Basinger walked in Never Say Never (1983) and where they shot Thunderball (1965) with Sean Connery.

The hotel is located not far from the building, where the casino Royal was located in the movie of the same name in 2006. Grandhotel Pupp itself “played” the role of Hotel Splendide de Montenegro in the film. In its garage Bond was reunited with his Aston Martin DBS. In the restaurant of this hotel, 007 had dinner with Vesper (Eva Green). Today Grandhotel Pupp is a 111 room 5-star luxury hotel with spa, restaurants and bars, conference facilities and, naturally enough, a casino, where you can play roulette, poker and blackjack.
