If you are a true fan of the movies you might know that James Bond has been to Istanbul more than once. It is worth remembering From Russia with Love (1963) and  Skyfall (2012). In the first film, Sean Connery stayed at the Pera Palace (today Pera Palace Hotel Jumeirah). In 1955, Ian Fleming himself, the author of the James Bond novels, was also there. In the restaurant of this hotel, 007 had dinner with Vesper (Eva Green). Today Grandhotel Pupp is a 111 room 5-star luxury hotel with spa, restaurants and bars, conference facilities and, naturally enough, a casino, where you can play roulette, poker and blackjack.
