If you are a true fan of the movies you might know that James Bond has been to Istanbul more than once. It is worth remembering From Russia with Love (1963) and  Skyfall (2012). In the first film, Sean Connery stayed at the Pera Palace (today Pera Palace Hotel Jumeirah). In 1955, Ian Fleming himself, the author of the James Bond novels, was also there. Would you like to book a room in this hotel for yourself?

In 1997 Pierce Brosnan spent time at Lake Alster in northern Germany where he was shooting for the movie Tomorrow Never Dies. The film paid special attention to the terrace and the balloon on the roof of the hotel Atlantic Kempinski. There is a really nice view.
